The Blue Jays Baseball Academy will be hosting an Instructional Clinic in Newmarket on Sunday July 9th from 3pm to 7pm for amateur players aged 8 to 14. Blue Jays Academy Instructors will focus on teaching young players of all abilities the fundamental skills of baseball in a fun and structured atmosphere. 

During the clinic, players will rotate through drills that will cover all skills including: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, and base running. Coaches and parents are invited to come on to the field during the clinic to observe different drills and ask instructors questions to enhance understanding. Each participant will receive a Blue Jays hat, t-shirt and baseball manual.

COST

$55 (plus HST) per participant.

REGISTRATION

Registration opens in mid-March. Registration is open to ALL children aged 8-14, boys and girls and you do not need to be registerd with Newmarket Baseball.  Sign up with a friend! Please be sure to register for the Newmarket clinic!!  Registration is done at the Toronto Blue Jays Academy website by clicking here!

All registered participants will receive a confirmation email after registering for the clinic. An information email about the clinic will be sent out roughly a week prior to the clinic date and will contain details about the clinic including when to arrive, what to bring and details on an alternative facility in the event of rain or unplayable field conditions. Receipts will be emailed to participants at least two weeks before the clinic date.

All participants are asked to bring a baseball glove, a bat, a helmet, baseball cleats or running shoes and be dressed in appropriate baseball attire. Please also bring water, snacks and sunscreen. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the clinic to register. The clinic runs for 4 hours.

REFUND POLICY

A full refund, less a $10 administration fee, will be granted if registration is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to clinic date. Any cancellations within 48 hours of the clinic will not receive a refund.
