Newmarket Baseball Rain and Weather Policy

The Town of Newmarket has a weather hotline that updates the status of all diamonds. The hotline is updated by 3pm daily. The number is 1-877-752-9936 ext 1.
For Anchor Park and Ridgeview in EG - click HERE or call 905-478-3825
Aurora does not have a hotline or a website, the coaches in Aurora are notified by email if the diamonds are closed and they will share with Newmarket.
You will NOT receive an email every time the game is cancelled due to rain. You must call the hotline and follow the instructions below.
The problem with weather is often times it changes after 3pm and the hotline is not updated after the offices close therefore we have to use our own judgement in regards to games and practices
