Minor Mosquito AA Hawks News!

The Minor Mosquito AA team went 5-0 this weekend on their way to win the championship at the Bolton Tournament.  The kids played very well all weekend facing Royal York on Friday night with a 20-9 win, a 15-1 victory over Cambridge and a 17-2 win over London West on Saturday.  

 

The semi-final game on Sunday morning was against the host team Bolton, the kids pulled out a 10-4 victory with Christian and Tyler pitching extremely well.  The defense was solid and the team came through with a number of timely hits.  The Championship game on Sunday afternoon was against Halton Hills.  Maddox and Carson teamed up to throw a 6 inning shutout in a 10-0 victory.  The defense made a number of big plays and kids came up with hits to cash in crucial runs.

 

Excellent team effort!  Great weekend of ball.
