AA Minor Mosquito Hawks Take Silver in East York

Congratulations to the Minor Mosquito AA Hawks!!
The Minor Mosquito AA team represented Newmarket well in East York this past weekend, taking Silver in the Summer Slam tournament. The Hawks played great all weekend, winning 13-0, 12-2 and 7-5 in Round Robin play. Hawks then crushed a stunned Whitby A team 20-1 in the Semis. The championship game was hard fought with the Hawks coming up just one run short in the end.
The Hawks would like to thank the Parents and Fans who stayed all weekend to cheer us on through the rain and the wind. You are the true heroes of this team!
