22U AAA Hawks Win Game 1 at Nationals!

The 22U AAA Hawks play PEI this morning at Nationals winning 2-1!
The 22U Newmarket Hawks played their first game at Natonals in Halifax, NS this morning with a 2-1 win against PEI. Watch the full game here!
The Hawks played an intense game with no score in the first 6 innings. PEI took the lead with one run in the top of the 8th (in overtime)
International rules place a runner at 1 and 2 to start the inning when in overtime. With one out, CJ Maury comes in to hit a line drive to the gap bringing in two runs for a walk off win. Logan McKnight wins Player of the Game for pitching 6 scoreless innnings.
Game 2 takes place today (Thursday) at 6pm
Game 3 will be Friday at 3pm
Game 4 will be Saturday at 9am
