The 2026 May Long Weekend Diamond Cup
New for 2026! The Newmarket Baseball Association is proud to introduce the May Long Weekend Diamond Cup, running May 15–17, 2026.
This exciting new tournament will bring together some of Ontario’s top 13U AAA and 13U AA teams for an action-packed weekend of competition, community, and great baseball.
All teams are guaranteed three games, with championship rounds to decide who takes home the inaugural Diamond Cup. Games will begin as early as Friday at 11:00 AM, setting the stage for a weekend full of energy, excitement, and great baseball in Newmarket.
Kick off your summer season surrounded by top-tier talent, excellent facilities, and a welcoming baseball community ready to host one of Ontario’s newest marquee tournaments.
Tournament Details:
● Dates: May 15–17, 2026
● Divisions: 13U AAA and 13U AA
● Format: 3-game minimum with championship rounds

The 2026 Don McKnight Silver Bat Tournament
A Newmarket baseball tradition continues! The Newmarket Baseball Association is proud to host the annual Don McKnight Silver Bat Tournament, running July 24–26, 2026.
Celebrating over 50 years of history, the Silver Bat has been a cornerstone event in Ontario baseball since 1975 — bringing together talented young athletes, competitive teams, and a shared passion for the game.
This year’s tournament will feature 11U AAA and 11U AA/A divisions, with all teams guaranteed three games and championship rounds to determine who will raise the legendary Silver Bat trophy.
Games will begin as early as Friday at 11:00 AM, setting the stage for a weekend full of excitement, great baseball, and lasting memories.

The 2026 Civic Weekend Showdown
The Newmarket Baseball Association is excited to host the 2nd annual Civic Weekend Showdown, running July 31–August 2, 2026!
Back for its second year, the Civic Weekend Showdown has quickly become a highlight on the summer baseball calendar — offering high-level play, great facilities, and a fun, competitive atmosphere as teams gear up for OBA season.
This year’s event will feature 12U AAA and, new for 2026, a 12U AA/A division. All teams are guaranteed three games, with championship rounds to crown the next Civic Weekend champions.
Games will begin as early as Friday at 11:00 AM, making for a full weekend of baseball excitement and competitive matchups.
If you’re looking for the perfect tune-up before the OBAs, Newmarket is the place to be!
