The 2026 May Long Weekend Diamond Cup

New for 2026! The Newmarket Baseball Association is proud to introduce the May Long Weekend Diamond Cup, running May 15–17, 2026.

This exciting new tournament will bring together some of Ontario’s top 13U AAA and 13U AA teams for an action-packed weekend of competition, community, and great baseball.

All teams are guaranteed three games, with championship rounds to decide who takes home the inaugural Diamond Cup. Games will begin as early as Friday at 11:00 AM, setting the stage for a weekend full of energy, excitement, and great baseball in Newmarket.

Kick off your summer season surrounded by top-tier talent, excellent facilities, and a welcoming baseball community ready to host one of Ontario’s newest marquee tournaments.

● Divisions: 13U AAA and 13U AA
● Format: 3-game minimum with championship rounds
● Start Time: Friday, 11:00 AM

Concussion Awareness


Under Rowan's Law, before any players can be registered with the local association and Baseball Ontario, the player, and the parent or legal guardian of the player if the player is under 18 years of age, must review one of the Concussion Education Resources provided by the Province of Ontario.  Links to thisresource is provided here and will open in a separate window:

  All participants have read the Rowan's Law Concussion Report.

 Liability Release and Consent Form  
In consideration of the acceptance of my application for the 12U Civic Weekend Showdown Tournament, I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, property damages or which may hereafter occur to me as a result of participation in said event. This release is intended to discharge in advance Newmarket Baseball Association, its officials, officers, employees, volunteers and agents from liability, even though that liability may arise out of perceived negligence on the part of persons mentioned above. It is understood that some recreational activities involve an element of risk or danger of accidents, and knowing those risks, I hereby assume those risks. It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assignees. I give consent for the players on my team to participate in the event activities, and I execute the above liability release on their behalf.


Consent for Treatment
I hereby give my consent to have the above applicants treated by emergency medical personnel, a physician, or surgeon, in case of sudden illness or injury while participating in the activity. It is understood that Newmarket Baseball Association will provide no medial insurance for such treatment, and that the cost thereof will be at my expense. I have read and understood the above consent form, and agree to all of its terms and conditions.  

Privacy Policy

The information requested on this form is required by the Newmarket Baseball Association, and the Ontario Baseball Association (their respective executives, employees, coaches, umpires and volunteers) for registration purposes and to administer the rules and regulations of the OBA and NBA and to provide notification of any upcoming events or activities.  In order to do so, the NBA may, if required, request proof of a players’ identity, address and date of birth.

Refund Policy

Please contact Newmarket Baseball at admin@newmarket baseball.com if your team is unable to attend the tournament.  Requests for refunds will be reviewed by the tournament comittee and are not guaranteed.
