New and Returning Player Information and Tips for 2015

Welcome to all Newmarket Baseball Players and Families to the 2015 Season!!

The sun is shining, the temperature is rising, the diamonds are nearly open and the Newmarket Baseball Association (NBA) is getting ready for the 2015 Season!

Please visit the NBA website frequently for news, updates, and important information throughout the season.

REGISTRATION:
Registration is ongoing until the teams are full.  Please remember that you are not fully registered and will not be placed on a team until your registration fees are paid.  If you have not paid your fees please make arrangements to do so ASAP!

TEAM INFORMATION AND SCHEDULES:
Team information will be available soon!  You will receive an email on or around May 1st with your child's team and coach information.  Once you receive this email with your team name you will be able to access your team schedule online on the website.

OPENING DAY CEREMONIES:
Opening Day Ceremonies will take place on Saturday May 9th at 8am to 11am.  You will receive a separate email with more information about Opening Day!  

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED FOR THE SEASON:
Each child is required to have their own glove, batting helmet and grey baseball pants (tball players do not need grey baseball pants).  Boys are required to wear an athletic cup.  Cleats are optional in Junior Rookie and Rookie but recommended for the older divisions.  (Soccer cleans are sufficient for the younger players) A jersey/shirt and baseball cap will be provided to each player.

PANT SALES:
Grey baseball pants are required for all players (except for Tball).  Pants will be sold on Opening Day for $20 cash or cheque.  Pants will also be sold in the office at the Magna Centre during office hours beginning May 2nd.  

VOLUNTEERS:
Volunteers are always needed and welcome and all special event days (Listed below)  There are many opportunities to volunteer with Newmarket Baseball.  High school students can earn volunteer hours!
